Identic offers a wide selection of equipment for refilling of AdBlue^®/DEF, with a focus on spill-free refilling.

The reducing agent AdBlue^®/DEF, which is used on diesel powered vehicles in order to clean the exhaust gases with SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction), has some special characteristics which have to be considered. For example, the fluid crystallizes when in contact with air and causes corrosion when in contact with some common metals and other materials. For a correct function of the SCR technology it is important that the chemical is not contaminated, and in order to prevent that refilling is done in the wrong tank the refilling inlet has been designed and standardised according to ISO 22241-4.

With Identic's spill-free refilling system (SVR - Spill-free Vehicle Refilling) you achieve a safe handling of AdBlue^®/DEF. Some of the advantages with the system:

• Prevents the risk for spill
  Less risk for crystallization and corrosion at and around the refilling site

• Only AdBlue^®/DEF can be refilled in the tank
  Prevents wrong fluid to be filled in the AdBlue^®/DEF tank, which could cause serious damage to the SCR system

Identic's spill-free system contains, among other things, a spill-free refilling nozzle and a tank inlet adaptor. When these are connected they form a closed connection between the dispenser and the vehicle AdBlue^®/DEF tank.
