gives a very reliable, wireless transfer of information between vehicle and evaluating system, through modulated infra-red light.
Kilometer stand/operating hours, vehicle identity and company code are basic requirements, but also temperature, pressure, route etc. can be of great interest to transfer automatically and securely, for further data processing and controlling of gates, signs parking systems etc .

The equipment that is mounted in the vehicle consists of an ID 850 transmitter which is connected to an IR lamp and to the different sensors in the vehicle where information is collected, e.g. kilometer or operating hours.

The IRX reader unit is an advanced infra-red receiver designed to receive coded, infra-red signals from vehicles which are equipped with Identic's ID 850 system. When the reader unit is used together with the central unit CE 60 the received information can be used for the following applications;

- Parking system
- Traffic control system
The IRX receiver is available in different versions depending on application.
